How we got them here ..

Tanisha and Victor decided to Elope in Palo Duro Canyon. After life kept getting in the way, we finally got them to their forever and this is how it all happened and lead us here to West Texas at Palo Duro Canyon State Park for their elopement.

Their story began back in college where they both attended Texas A&M. Tanisha and Victor dated for a month but with how busy life was during college they decided to part ways. They just wanted to see where life took them. Well to their surprise a few years later they both found themselves in Austin, TX. Where Victor had found a job post college, while Tanisha also found a job at a hospital not too far. Keep in mind these were two different fields of work. Their encounter back to each other was not a simple bump in the hallway.

Their story continues …

As soon as they both realized that life took them to the same city (What a freaking small world, am I right!!!) They started catching up as old friends and eventually hanging out more and more as time went on.

As anyone who’s had a past with someone they were both scared to confess their feelings for each other in fear of overstepping. They wanted to be careful but careless at the same time. The love that they had for each other was just so hard to hide!

Taking a risk …

Eventually the anticipation had Tanisha anxious, so one day she confessed to Victor that she knew he loved her. This was a huge risk to take but it was one of the BEST risk she could’ve ever done. Victor was surprised that she called him out on it but he couldn’t deny that she was right. That opened the door for Victor to star expressing his feelings without boundaries and soon after they started officially dating.

Not too long after they started dating, Victor knew she was his forever and didn’t want time to pass him by without letting her know. So he did what any man does when he’s ready for that next step, HE PROPOSED!!!!!!!

Shortly after their engagement both Victor and Tanisha knew they didn’t want to have a super long engagement and they were just ready to start building their life together.

Planning their elopement !!

She reached out to me, let me in on her love story and we quickly started planning her elopement in Palo Duro Canyon. These two love to adventure, so much that Tanisha has hiked Angel’s Landing. If you don’t know that’s one intense hike at Zion National Park.

They both have extremely important jobs and as much as they wanted to go somewhere epic, we needed to bring epic to Texas. We discovered Palo Duro Canyon just outside the rims of Amarillo, Texas and this place is seriously a hidden gem in West Texas. Take a look at these pictures and tell me you don’t feel like you’re in Utah or Arizona. Palo Duro Canyon was absolutely perfect for their elopement. We traveled their a day prior to enjoy the area and planned for their big day!
