Elizabeth and her fiancée chose to have a 1910 Courthouse Elopement, two days before Christmas. Elizabeth reached out to me a few weeks before her wedding date and expressed how she wanted to share this intimate moment with her friends and family, plus her 6-month-old baby. When she told me she wanted her ceremony to take place on the steps of the Courthouse, I WAS ALL IN!!! This is one of my favorite spots to capture an elopement ceremony.
I’m a huge sucker for love stories, and one of the first things I always ask my couples when we start chatting is about their love story. I love the lead-up to what got them to their wedding planning. So when Elizabeth reached out, she shared with me how they met. Elizabeth shared, “Our first date was supposed to be at the Natural Science Museum, but for some reason we were able to go out before then and get breakfast at Snooze, and then we went to Dave and Busters. He claims he let me win at the arcade games, but I know I won fair and square. We will be celebrating our third anniversary this November, and we just welcomed our baby boy into the world in June.”
Knowing her family and friends would be together for the holidays, the picked December 23, 2023 for their 1910 Courthouse Elopement.
