I’ll be honest, I was not ready for what was to come on this hike on the Oregon Coast for an Intimate wedding Elopement. As a girl from Texas I made sure I had two layers of leggings and my big puffy jacket. I wanted to make sure I was warm, I did not want to risk being cold out in the middle of nature!
Morgan and Matt weren’t changed into their wedding attire just yet. There’s a very good reason why I always suggest to my couples to not hike in their wedding attire. Could you possibly guess why? Firstly they would have less mobility, they could get it extra dirty before taking photos and to be honest wedding attire could add on extra weight on you that you are not going to want during a hike. Less is better in this scenario!
As we hiked down what seemed the “easier path” ended up being not the best idea once we got to the bottom of the rocks. We then decided to do a few photos here. When then they decided to cross over one of the most steepest rocks to get to the other side, could we say they were pretty badass? I would say heck yes!
I then met them on the other side to shoot the rest of their elopement. As I stood there, capturing the small candid moments between them. Everything seemed unreal. The love between Matt and Morgan was simply unbelievable. After shooting at Samuel H Boardman, we headed over to the beach!
As you guys may see throughout my whole website and instagram , I’m such a sucker for the beach! Once we made our way down through the sand dunes and on to the Oregon coast. We were all in awe and then shortly continued to Matt and Morgan exchanging Vows. We then ended with them frolicking all around the beach celebrating their day!
