Katia started her search for where she wanted her elopement to take place in the fall of 2023. Once she found the 1910 Courthouse, there was no hesitation in choosing this location for her Houston Elopement. The charm, the history and the ambiance this place has are unbeatable for a wedding. With the way the courthouse is built and designed, you could choose any time of day to get married here, and it will be just as beautiful as any other time slot.
You finally found the dream location where you want to do your elopement, but now you’re wondering: who can actually marry me? The one thing most people LOVE about the 1910 Courthouse is the fact that you can get ANY officiant to marry you outside. As long as they are legally allowed too, of course 😜. If you’re looking for someone, I personally really enjoy working with Judge Eric Andell.
Now that you have a date and time set with your officiant you will want to start searching for your photographer. As a Houston Elopement Photographer, I will go over the vision you have for your day. Some couples have their ceremony without anyone present, and others bring families and friends to join them. However, if you choose to share and spend your day, I’ll coordinate your day as you want!! After chatting about all the small details (Start time, how many guests, etc.). We then start the planning process on how to bring your dream elopement to life!
I can’t wait for you to start planning your Houston City Elopement. After photographing hundreds of elopements here, I’ll tell you that it’s the BEST location for that city elopement feel 🤩
